There's Hope


Yesterday (4/19) I saw a winter flounder come into the shop. It was only 1 1/2 lbs, but at least the seals haven't gotten them all.

On the striper front; there have been a few of them on the ocean beaches to the east and west of Shinnecock inlet on bucktails in the dark. No keepers yet, but i have heard that Jamaica Bay is loaded with them and some blue's too.

As far as fluke goes, these are the proposed regulations:
