Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Well at least is not to cold yet as we enter December. The bass are still being caught off the beach and the jetties in and around Shinnecock and Moriches. There are some blues mixed in as well. The seabass and blackfish has also slowed somewhat but they are still catching on the pieces out front. And we also got word that there are some big schools of herring moving down the beach from Montauk as of Friday. Check out this video of the
This week has seen a lot of changes in the waters around Shinnecock. Mass amounts of bunker dying in the canal and schools of bluefish up and down the beaches with a few stripers mixed in. This week also ends our striped bass tournament: 1st Vinny Conwell 32.18lbs 2nd Steve Rattler 27.60lbs 3rd Matt Warner 27.32lbs Congrats to all the winners. Thanks to all that participated. Blackfish and seabass are still being caught out on the reef and wrecks.
