Shinnecock Fishing Report 7-18-21
Shinnecock Fluke are throughout the bay and taking spearing, squid and gulp. The location of the bite changes regularly so be sure to move around if you're not catching. The flats have seen some nice keepers and in the inlet as well. Better action on the turn of the tide. Some striped bass taking live baits around the Ponquogue bridge. The seabass are cooperating out on the reef and taking clams and jigs. Have seen a few fluke on the reef too. Peconic Porgies still hanging to
Shinnecock Fishing Report 7-11-21
Shinnecock Prior to Elsa the fluke bite in the bay was decent west of Ponquogue bridge. The outgoing tides seemed better but at the turn of the tides with slower current seemed best. Elsa has set us back a bit with the dirty water but in a few days that should be cleaned up. The regular spearing, squid and gulp all working. Striped bass have not been as cooperative. HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY TO ALL!!!!!!!! CELEBRATE AND BE SAFE. Shinnecock The fluke bite in most of the bay continues to be very spotty. Some days the flood is best, other days its the ebb. There are plenty of fish around with enough keepers to keep your interest. The flats seem to be a bit better than the deeper spots. Spearing, squid and gulp all working well. Seabass have been active on the reef outside the inlet. The fish are taking clam, squid and spearing baits but the fish
