

Good News!!!!
Reports have been coming into the shop on a daily basis of stripers on the beaches to the east and west of Shinnecock inlet. The Shinnecock canal is also holding some bass as well as a few flounder.Haven't heard of any weakfish yet; but as soon as the lilacs bloom I'm sure they'll be here. I've also got word that Smith's Point beach has some stripers to 28". The shop just got in a fresh load on Super Strike lures. Come on in and check them out.

I heard a report this morning that there was a keeper striper on the beaches in East Hampton. The bite was before sun up There was also a report of 2 flounder coming out of the Shinnecock Canal on Thursday. Hope to have more to tell after this beautiful weekend. Tight Lines.


Striped Bass Season Opens This Sunday
Striped bass opens April 15th. The store is fully stocked and the reports have been coming in of schoolie fish in the Peconics and the western sound. Small poppers and 3/4 oz. bucktails are the ticket for the spring bite. Don't forget to get your gear in for repair and spooling before it gets too busy.
