Keeper Bass in Shinnecock

Due to the bad weather this week, there hasn't been much to report. However the few die hards that have been fishing are catching keeper bass, fluke, flounder and weakfish. Most were caught in the back bays but a few on the ocean beaches too. Joel got this beautiful 28" bass on Tuesday morning on a 3/4 oz bucktail. The Ponquogue bridge seems to be the biggest producer of keeper bass so far using 6" Chartreuse Gulp! jerk shads. Fluke seasons looks like it's going to shape up nicely with reports from the local baymen that the fluke are in and they are Fat.

Joel also has a video for this fish. Check it out
