Fluke is Open

Yesterday's fluke opener was better than most expected; with fish up to 6lbs. coming over the rails in the Peconics. The Shinnecock canal is also holding some good sized fluke and blowfish too. Jessups Neck and Rodgers Rock has some monster porgies; 4lbs. Clam baits working best over there.

Shinnecock Bay has got plenty to blues and searobins.

The shallow creeks and small inlets around Shinnecock and Peconic are holding some schoolie to just keeper size stripers. The Ponquogue bridge has some bass as well.

We just got in another shipment of Super Strike; bottle plugs, darters, and heavy bullets. We've also got plenty of Gulp, spearing and squid for all your fluking needs.

Tight Lines,

Steve
