East End Custom Rods
The pride of our shop is the custom rods we produce for the individual angler. There is nothing better than seeing one of our rods catch a great fish with a smiling angler.
 The Shop
East Ends Shop is on site where we build all of our rods. We do not farm out any of our work. By keeping the work in house we have more control of each and every rods quality and completion schedule. Most rods take a few weeks to deliver due to the other orders in front of them but not longer than 3 weeks.
When we set a delivery date with a customer we keep our promise.
 The Rods
All of our rods are built using Lamiglass blanks and quality components by Fugi and Aftco. The use of quality components only enhances the quality of our final product. Rods can be built using cork or foam grips, your choice, and ceramic, carbloy, wire or roller guides. The reel seats are from Fugi or Aftco depending on the rod type.
Rod Types
East End can build any type of rod you desire, with the exception of a fly rod which we will be looking to do in the future. The rod can be a boat rod, spin rod, surf rod or an offshore stand up rod to name a few. We build rods to your specifications or our own, again your choice. The guide wrap colors can be chosen again by you. So it’s easy to see a rod built by East End will be built just for you and your specific needs and tastes. East End Bait & Tackle Custom Rod Limited Warranty
East End Bait and Tackle uses Lamiglas rod blanks exclusively to build our Custom Rods. Lamiglas rod blanks are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime to the original purchaser. If your rod fails, please bring it back to East End Bait & Tackle and explain the problem to us.
If the problem is due to a defect in materials or workmanship, the rod will be repaired or replaced and returned to you as quickly as possible; all we ask of you is to pay a $20.00 shipping and handling fee to return the rod to Lamiglas. If the problem is due to an unfortunate accident, misuse, alteration or normal wear and tear, we will advise you of the cost of the repair or replacement and await your approval prior to proceeding.
