| East End Fresh, Frozen and Live Baits At East End we carry a large variety of baits for the saltwater angler. Our baits are always the freshest available. We receive deliveries three times a week from many different suppliers to assure we always have the freshest bait possible. Our suppliers are local Companies and individuals who get our baits from the local bays and ocean. Our frozen baits are flash frozen to maintain the best quality possible, while our fresh bait is delivered by our local baymen. Our live baits are always lively and are kept in our special live bait tank system that we maintain daily. Inshore We always have live eels on hand for the bass fisherman as well as live killies for fluke and sandworms for the porgies. Our frozen spearing is the best on the island, caught locally by our baymen and delivered fresh to our freezer for a flash freezing. We have customers from all over the island visiting our shop just for our spearing. Fresh bunker is delivered on a daily basis when in season in our area caught locally in Shinnecock Bay for the bass fisherman who like to chunk bunker. Our inshore bait inventory also includes, squid, sand eels, Large Peruvian spearing, whole fresh salted clams and clam bellies for the clam chummers. We also have frozen clam chum and clam for the porgy fisherman. In season we have live green crab for the reef fisherman. Offshore Our offshore bait is always well stocked in our large walk-in freezer. For the shark enthusiast, we have bunker chum, mackerel chum and when available, bluefish chum. We also have flats of bunker and mackerel as well as large squid and blue fish baits. When the overnight chunk starts for the tuna we are ready with flats of butterfish, spearing and sardines in large quantities. We stock ballyhoo rigged and unrigged for those anglers who prefer trolling fresh baits over the plastics. East End is a well stocked one stop bait destination for all anglers inshore and offshore.
